A.W. Dienemann GmbH & Co KG - Tradition and innovation since 1857

A.W. Dienemann GmbH was founded in 1857 in Mühlhausen (Thuringia) as a glue and window putty kitchen.

As early as 1890, the company moved part of its production - the glue kitchen - to Bremen. After the First World War, the company was rebuilt on a smaller scale and developed from a production operation into a trading company.

Reconstruction after the Second World War

The company was completely destroyed during the Second World War. However, the granddaughter of the company founder Dienemann and Heinrich Sievers rebuilt it as a trading company for glues and shellacs. The product range was later expanded to include abrasives, spirit-soluble stains and varnishes.

Development into a modern family business

In 2013, the company was transformed into A.W. Dienemann GmbH & Co. KG in order to create the best possible conditions for the future as a traditional family business. The product range has been constantly expanded and now includes not only wood varnishes, glues and stains, but also a comprehensive range of machines, tools and accessories of all kinds.

Sales and partnership

The company's main sales region is the North-West area, where deliveries are made by the company's own drivers, haulage companies or parcel services. In addition, the products are dispatched throughout Germany and to other European countries.

A.W. Dienemann GmbH & Co KG is a member of creativen Partner, an association of companies for carpenters, shopfitters and window manufacturers. The aim is to create and effectively utilise synergies through cooperation.
