Since our foundation in 1857, we at A.W. Dienemann GmbH & Co. KG have combined traditional craftsmanship with a clear commitment to sustainable business practices. As a specialist wholesaler for paints, varnishes, glues and accessories, our aim is to combine ecological responsibility with high product quality and partnership-based service.

Energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction

By installing a photovoltaic system and systematically switching to LED lighting, we were able to reduce our CO₂ emissions by more than 85%. For this commitment, we were honoured by Bremen's environmental senator in 2017 as a "CO₂ minus 20 climate protection company" - a recognition that motivates us to continue on this path.

Environmentally friendly product range

We offer a wide range of environmentally friendly products - including water-based varnishes, oils and waxes that are free from harmful solvents. These products are particularly suitable for use on children's furniture and toys. Together with well-known manufacturers such as Hesse Lignal, Adler and Zweihorn, we focus on natural raw materials and sustainable production methods.

Certifications and memberships

As a member of "Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen" (PUU), we are committed to sustainable management at a high level. We are also certified in accordance with the EcoStep environmental management system - proof that we are continuously improving and systematically developing our environmental performance.

Sustainable innovations

With the acquisition of Transfer Electric's solar and conductive coatings in 2022, we have expanded our range to include innovative and environmentally friendly coating solutions. These solvent-free special coatings are characterised by high temperature resistance and are particularly suitable for photovoltaic applications.
