As a family-run company in its third and fourth generation, Hesse Lignal in Hamm (Westphalia) develops and produces sustainable coating solutions for furniture, doors, parquet and other sophisticated interior surfaces.

With a clear focus on environmental friendliness, Hesse Lignal discontinued the production of solvent-based nitrocellulose lacquers as early as 2024 and is pursuing the goal of replacing all solvent-based products with sustainable alternatives by 2030.

The company supplies customers from trade, industry and architecture worldwide with customised solutions that combine functionality and aesthetics. With around 100 tonnes of lacquers and stains produced every day and over 45,000 formulations, Hesse Lignal offers a comprehensive range for a wide variety of applications.
